Unfortunatley many pool owners wait until their pool liner fails before they decide to replace it. Failure of a liner can result in significant damage to the structure of the swimming pool. It is sensible to avoid any unessesary damage and replace the liner before it is at the end of its life. If your liner has become brittle and lost its elasticity then it should be replaced. The expected lifespan of an outdoor liner should be around eight to ten years.
The process of fitting a new liner includes drain down of the pool, measuring precisely for the new liner, checking the condition of the pool shell, every gasket and where possible face plate will be replaced.
Each liner is bespoke and is manufactured to order. Once ordered the liner can be manufactured and on site in as little as four working days, depending on the time of year. Once the liner is on site the pool will be lined with felt or foam underlay which provides a barrier between the pool shell and the liner. It can take anywhere between one to four days to fill up a pool, this is dependant on the size of the pool and the water pressure available.
Fitting a new liner will give you peace of mind and transform the look of your pool.
If your pool liner has failed or it is tired and has seen better days we can arrange a visit to discuss the replacement and fitting of a new one.
