A tiled pool is of a much more complex construction than a liner pool, as the shell of the pool retains the water. They are constructed by spraying concrete into a reinforced steel frame to form the pool shell then finished with a mosaic tile.
The cost of a tiled pool is generally far more than that of a block and liner pool as more materials are required and the construction process is far more labour intensive.
